Nurture Connection recently released a short survey for professionals who are part of the early childhood ecosystem. Input will help guide efforts to advance early relational health and the work of Nurture Connection. With the survey, they hope to better understand the evolution of early relational health awareness, policy, and practice, as well as identify new opportunities to grow together to strengthen early relational health in the early childhood field. The deadline to complete the survey is May 17.

What Is Nurture Connection?

It is an emerging field catalyst and network of early childhood champions, including parents and caregivers, that promotes strong, positive, and nurturing early relationships to build healthier, more connected communities.

What Is Early Relational Health?

Early relational health is the state of emotional well-being that grows from emotional connection between babies and toddlers and their parents and caregivers when they experience strong, positive, and nurturing relationships with each other. Early relational health is foundational to children’s healthy growth and development and parents’ and caregivers’ sense of competence, connection, and overall well-being. These strong and enduring relationships also help to protect the family from the harmful effects of stress.
