Dr. David Willis\, MD\, FAAP\, senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy\, and Kay Johnson\, MPH\, MEd\, president of Johnson Policy Consulting\, will join as discussants. The webinar will include stories from the field on implementing the care continuum\, including for developmental health promotion and prevention\, screening and surveillance\, linkage and care coordination for appropriate follow-up\, and consultation or brief intervention.   \n\n\n\nThis webinar will be at a foundational and intermediate level for community health centers that are already implementing the continuum or working to expand their implementation. CEU\, CME\, and MOC 2 credits will be available to those who attend the live webinar. After participating in this webinar\, community health center attendees will be able to:   \n\n\n\n\nSummarize the details of each stage of the ECD Continuum of Care\, differentiating the components of each stage and applying community health center perspectives. \n\n\n\nDesign strategies for integrating components of the care continuum into their own community health center framework.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio\n\n\n\n\n\nSara del Campo de Gonzalez\, MD FAAP \n\n\n\nDr. del Campo de Gonzalez is a general pediatrician at Baylor College of Medicine\, Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. She relocated to San Antonio from Albuquerque\, New Mexico in 2021. Previously\, she was the medical director of the Young Children’s Health Center\, a community-based behavioral health integrated pediatric medical home at the University of New Mexico. Dr. del Campo de Gonzalez has served in various roles with the American Academy of Pediatrics as an advisor\, faculty presenter\, and course developer in the areas of developmental surveillance\, screening\, and referral systems\, as well as social determinants of health screening in pediatrics. She currently serves as division chief of Academic General Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine at San Antonio\, as well as associate program director of the pediatric residency program. Additionally\, she heads the advocacy and community engagement learning experience for residents. In San Antonio\, she has continued program development in alignment with her interests in trauma-informed care\, excessive childhood stress activation\, early childhood development\, advocacy\, resilience\, and protective factors. Dr. del Campo de Gonzalez is also a member of the ECDHS: Evidence to Impact Center’s National Advisory Board. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiscussant Bios\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid Willis\, MD FAAP\, serves as a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP)\, is the founder of Nurture Connection\, and is a national expert in pediatrics\, early childhood systems\, and early relational health. Dr. Willis is also a member of the ECDHS: Evidence to Impact Center’s National Advisory Board. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKay Johnson\, MPH\, MEd\, is nationally recognized as a maternal and child health policy (MCH) analyst\, advocate\, and consultant. Her work at Children’s Defense Fund\, March of Dimes\, George Washington University\, and Johnson Consulting have helped to shape the direction of MCH and Medicaid policy since 1984. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of women’s and children’s policies at the federal and state levels.
